The Stockholm Syndrome
a film by Daniel Seidel
starring Elizabeth Bonne
with Pamela Bilderbeck
based on a true story
Freedom is a lovely thing.
Stockholm syndrome: the psychological tendency of a hostage to bond with, identify with, or sympathize with their captor...
“I wanted to tell a story about storytelling.
I’m fascinated with all aspects of psychology, especially abnormal psychology. What makes a person abnormal? What qualifies as insane? Do we all possess the potential for evil acts?
The characters in The Stockholm Syndrome are bound together in a high stakes game of wits and pulled apart by ever increasing external tensions.
My scripts tend to share common themes of loss, injustice, and the pursuit of love, or at least the quenching of loneliness. The perfect solution doesn’t exist in life, so writing fiction is the closest thing to realizing dreams.”
